This is a really fun idea that I stole from my mom. She has a home daycare and sets up this "Indian teepee" for the kids at Thanksgiving time. I decided to set this up for my kids since we have a playroom now, however it could be set up anywhere in the house that has a little space.
All you need is a card table, some blankets, an orange cone (like a traffic cone), a full size flat sheet, clothes pins, and some long sticks (optional). First put up the blankets on 3 sides of the table. Next put the cone on top. I put a rag under mine to keep the blankets from getting dirty. Then put the sheet around the cone and use the clothes pins to secure it leaving the top of the cone exposed. Then put the sticks in the opening of the top of the cone to look like a teepee.
I didn't use the sticks because I have 4 boys and they would definitley be used as swords!
